Flopped str8, how to extract max value

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed)

MP1 ($8)
Hero ($25.25)
MP3 ($44.20)
CO ($26.90)
Button ($69.08)
SB ($40.55)
BB ($12.60)
UTG ($16.65)
UTG+1 ($22.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [5c], [4c]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, Hero calls $0.25, 2 folds, Button raises to $0.5, SB (poster) calls $0.40, BB calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25.

Button is a total rock (PFR below 3, VP$IP below 15, W$SD above 70). This raise most likely means big pair or big slick.

Flop: ($2) [7s], [3d], [6s] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, Button bets $2, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls $2.

Button is a passive player (Total Agg below 1) so I think he would either check with AKs or bet less so I really think that he has an overpair now. Since nobody else called I call am not very worried about the flush hitting except that it might kill my action. However if I flat call it will look like I am on the flush draw and he most likely will bet into me again if the flush card doesn't come.

Turn: ($6) [3h] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $5

Now I am almost positive that he is playing an overpair.

If I flat call his bet I will have $18 left and he will have me covered. What is your plan to maximize this hand and does everyone else put him on an overpair?

I play this 2 ways:

1. Bet out into him on the flop, hope you get raised to get some money into the pot. If there's a flush draw possible he might think you are on a draw, and I might reraise his raise. If it's raibow I might chk-raise the turn.

2. Chk-call flop, chk-raise turn. An average player will bet again, a good player might check behind. I think chk-call flop and bet turn is a bit weird and might slow him down, so I prefer a chk-raise on the turn against an average player.
