Okay, now what? With AK he would have reraised me preflop, right? He might have smooth called AA or KXs.

Would he re-raise me with a King or just call to get more money on the Turn?

So, do I call, fold or re-raise?

you fold. and fear AA, 55 or 44. also...not everyone will re-raise preflop with AK. but i think he would have raised stronger on the flop. unless he's a very creative player you don't want to put more money in with this hand.

Iceman has taught me that it is always +EV to bet any hand into one player after you PF raise it, no matter whether you like the flop or not. You will take it down right there more than 50% of the time, so it's a good bet and +EV.

You do not like this flop. So the only reason you bet the flop is to try to take it down right there.

Your play becomes -EV in a hurry if you start calling raises when you did not like the flop.

If you had AA or KK or AK or whatever, you can call his raise. He's expecting you to call most of the time, including with those hands.

You are in terrible shape with your QQ. You're not beating anything that can minraise you except a pure bluff. [Edit: or a semibluff, but how many semibluffs are minraises?]

Fold.

"That is the beauty of position in NL. First to act is at a huge disadvantage as you know. When I pick up KK EP I often lose with it. If I bet and get called (after raising pre-flop) I am usually beat. If I check and end up give a free card that sometimes beats me."

This is why I like to limp with AA/ KK in EP. I would rather call a raise heads up if I have KK, than to be the head up raiser when I have KK.

If I limp in EP and theres a raise and there are no other players in the hand, I just call and as long as the flop looks failry safe, I play it like a set.
