Drawing to non nut flushes??

Postby Zuccala » Mon Aug 22, 2005 4:58 pm

Hell, lioke most of you guys out here I do play SC's in LP. BUT.. I do have a tendancy to wimp out of tese draws in a pot where it looks like 1 or 2 others guys are drawing along with me. There have been some winners that i let go. Should I only continue to draw if I am getting a great price. I am talking about flushes Q high and lower. Thanks!

The problem is QTs or QJs flopping the flush draw that's not the nuts. Yucky situation to be in, especially if/when the flush comes and you get pressure. I don't have an answer yet.

Like Phish, I have not been playing these. I fear exactly what Kent is talking about. If you catch your flush on the flop sometimes you get calling stations chasing for that fourth suited card and loose to A/K.

BUT! I like Tim's tactic and think I'll try to add this to my game and see how it works.

Now that I've credited everyone on this post I'll shutup..lol.
