Seat 9: krisg88 ($85.50)
AlamedaMike posts the small blind of $0.50
FullTilt527 posts the big blind of $1
The button is in seat #6

*** HOLE CARDS ***

Dealt to AlamedaMike [Ks] [Kc]

6 folds, Coletrain11 raises to $2, AlamedaMike calls $1.50, 1 folds

Okay, I made a big mistake here by not raising.

*** FLOP *** [3c] [Tc] [Th]

AlamedaMike bets $5, Coletrain11 calls $5

*** TURN *** [7h]

He called my flop bet and since I did not re-raise him preflop (kicking myself) what do I do now?

If I bet and he has a Ten or Aces then he will call and I won't know where I am.

If I check and he bets then what?

I screwed this hand up badly.

Recommendations here are welcome.

Best move here is to check, right? And see what he does.

Well first off I think after he smmoth calls your flop bet you have to slow down. When he calls you have to put him on an Big pair like yourself. On the turn i am checking this one and if he bets big I am gone. Those two tens look just as scary to him as they do to you. If he pulls the trigger big time on the turn after you bet the size of the pot on the flop. Id let him take it down. If he bets a small amounts (weak lead??) on the turn I may pop him back, but if he re-raises I am gone and if he calls I am checking this hand down. What do ya think?? Just curious why did you not raise PF??

I think you are right. I for some reason just did not re-raise preflop. Big mistake.

I checked the turn and he checked. Checked the river and he made a big bet. I folded. The River paired the 3 so a 3 or a ten beat me.

I will never just call with KK again.

So this hand ....

Thanks Layneqt - I think that this will work most of the time. Since only a ten, AA or 33 could beat me here.

My KK's have not done well today.
