Well this is not easy but I feel that the good must be told with the bad....
Hi, my name is Cardman, and last night I played like a complete fish. Over the last 8 months I have been successful at low limit games and NL SNGs and began playing some $25NL ealier this month. My SNG experience was paying off and I was crushing this game and started playing $50NL on Monday. I won $100 each day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday playing very solid poker. Started thinking I would begin next month playing $100NL and was well on one way.
Well last night after getting destacked (for the 1st time at 50NL), I lost control and unexplainably began playing like a complete fish and this is what I have learned:
1. If you start losing while you are hammered, stop playing (I guess it is perfectly ok to play smashed if you are winning, sorry Doyle.
2. It is perfectly okay to lay down QQ on a T 6 2 rainboard board even when Mr. sees 50% of the flops puts you all in becasue you know 22 is not completely out of the realm of possibilites
3. Gettin busted on a 2 outer when your 2 pair AK gets whaled on by Mr. 55 turning a 5 although you BET THE POT is NOT a ticket to bleed your chips away for the next 30 minutes.
OK, I feel better and am eager to get back in the action tonight! All told, I lost $200 of my $450 earings for the week last night and my goal is to get it back by Monday morning.
