How do you milk a fish?

Postby guyonthecouch » Wed Aug 17, 2005 5:23 pm

I don't like the way I played this hand. This is on Absolute so there are a lot of short buy-ins. I bought in for the max $50 and ran into the only other normal stack at the table. He wasn't really a fish; definitely a LAG. He was talking about how tight the table was and he seemed to be bluffing quite a bit.

I always seem to stumble when I hit big hands. I don't know if I should slowplay or not. When I decide to bet/raise, I don't know how much. My river raise was definitely too high. Is this where I should min-raise? Should I have gone for it earlier?

i think you got as much out of this as you could. He probably had nothing. Only thing i could think of is raising to $15 instead.

I'm amazed you got as much out of it as you did. I might have checked the flop with the deck crippled with 3 aces out.
