I bet the turn. I have started to call a bet on flop with nothing if I think I can take the hand away later. Therefore I always bet the turn when I have something.

And some players love to bet flop and then checkraise turn.

What does a minimumraise on river usually mean at 10/20? Your line looks like a very strong

I hope he has something like AK and is trying to get fancy. QQ is a possibilty..but he might call your turn bet anyway.

Thanks for the compliment on the avatar... jerry orbach is the shit.

Youre second guessing yourslef because of what he had, but considering the range of possible hands, I think you played fine. If you had checked the turn and a 9 hit the river and you stacked him because he had 99, you would be celebrating your turn check.

my main concern is a bigger raise on the river. a mini raise is so "powerful looking" but doesn't put enough money out there.

You raise more..it looks more like a bluff and makes your pot even bigger.
