I push or fold preflop. Read dependant. Ive seen guys do that with AA, so I could find a fold here against certain people. He knows you have a strong hand and doesnt seem to care, so unless you have a read that says hes a maniac, I lean towards a fold.

Most people will say youre throwing away a chance to double up, but I say you only have $9 invested. I can find other ways to double up that arent so convoluted. I would kick myself for a week if I pushed and he had AA.

to limp re-re-raise....i think he has to have AA, or else he's afflicted with a symptom that i've termed "little brain." i would rarely lay down KK preflop but i think its ok here. the thing about NL poker is that you can afford to fold the best hand frequently as long as you're a favorite on the hands where all the money goes in.

You can call for a set. Otherwise fold.

I have seen that move from AA a lot. You said tha table was very passive, that means if you get a monster like AA, KK is very likely that u wont get action. He wanted to get cute but, there is a reraiser!! He must like his hand so, I will push with the nuts! I think that is what he did.

I was stacked like that yesterday and it was very obvious for me but I said to myself hat I wont lay down KK never prefop, except I have excellent reads. i had been playing with a guy at UB. We have played 460 hands together and he has only raised 1! I was dealt KK and raised to 2.5 and he reraised me to 9, I folded. He is a solid TAG, but the fact that he never raises PF is a leak in his game. He showed me AA.

Well, I went through a lot of the same thought process. I hadn't seen either of the players play any big hands. The LP player was new to the table, and the MP player I had about 20 hands with nothing significant.

Because there was already one limper when he originally limped, and because the table wasn't having much raises pre-flop (and I hadn't seen any re-raised hands in awhile) I just couldn't put him on AA. I never really was able to put him on a hand though. I thought the LP player probably had a pocket pair of 9's through Q's, but I didn't put him on AA with the flat call of the re-raise.

Anyway when in doubt I decided to count on the Party Poker idiot factor ($100 NL and lower I usually use this in tough situations) and pushed. At this limit I think this was the right play with my read that neither had AA, but I'm not sure. Both players called.

The flop came King high, but the full board was KQT96 so I was afraid one of them might win with Jacks.

The MP player had A8o (you have to be kidding me) and the LP player had TT so I won with the higher set.
