One pair stats

Postby Cactus Jack » Wed Aug 17, 2005 4:19 am

I'm getting killed with one pair. How bad is my play, based on these stats, or can some of it be attributed to bad luck? It's been absolutely terrible, lately. Wretched. Very frustrating to get pair after pair and see the flop go the other direction. I don't even remember what a flush looks like.

Total Times 1743
Saw Flop 488
Folded Flop 133
Folded Turn 65
Folded Turn 51
Went to Showdown 103
Net Amount (285.32)
Hands Won $ 170
Won at Showdown 33.1%
% of Total Hands 43.95

I'm only losing with High Card and One Pair. If I could turn these stats around, I'd be way, way up.

Total Hands 4644 VPi$P 21.90 Won$WSF 34.86 BB/100 .55 PFR% 7.1

I didn't realize I was playiing this aggressive PF. Maybe this is it. Another stat of interest is my Aggression Factor is 2.01 on the flop, 1.80 on the turn and a whopping 4.00 on the river.

What's your read on these stats?

Danka. Gracie. Merci. Thank you veddy much.

No doubt you're right, Jon. I wonder if we could somehow isolate this stat to something manageable. You're not doing well if you're over X amount.

Lately, it seems, I've had more than my share of missed hands. Lots and lots of small pairs that didn't flop the set. One time, three hands in a row I had small pairs that remained unimproved. Very frustating.

The killer of NL is winning small pots consistently, then losing a huge pot that takes you days to regain it. And it all seems to start with playing pairs badly.
