My last hand of the night. I get on the button. 2 callers before me and I limp in. BB checks and we are 4 handed to the flop.

This is NL $50 on Empire. Villan has a full stack I have him covered.

Pot = $2.25
Flop =

I have a flush draw, a straight draw and the straight flush draw. BB checks UTG checks CO makes it $2. I raise to $6 (right move?). BB (villan) just calls a bet and a raise. UTG folds and CO folds. 2 to the turn.

Turn =

BB checks and I check behind b/c at this point I think he may have somethine fierce.

BB leads out for $15. Ahhh! What does hero do? Could BB have been chasing a smaller flush or did he already have a made hand? Is he just bluffing trying to represent the flush? From what I have seen of him he is a pretty solid TA player.

i think you can fold on the flop. you don't want to get too attached to chasing a flush on a paired board. having said that....its tempting to call the river. a lot of this depends on your read on the villain. if he's good.....he'll have 78, or 77. he might also have JJ (unlikely because no PFR). he might be a draw chaser with an Ace-high flush. or he could be a moron with just an 8, an overpair, or T9 for the straight.

it really comes down to how much respect you give the villain. against a solid player i probably lay it down.

If the BB is solid tight aggressive I wouldn't fancy my chances too much, the best you can hope for is that he has K8 or something and was hoping to check-raise on the turn. Then again, maybe he J8 or Q7 and read your flop raise as the flush draw buying a free card in position, since you didn't bet the turn when there were many draws out.

If he is a solid TA then it's unlikely he has a lower flush draw, more likely the ace high flush.

That calling calling then betting the river pattern is very common with flopped monsters. He wanted you to hit and it worked.

dont chase the flush in paird board, not even the non nut specially if the pot is multiway, the chances you are drawing dead are high.

For what it is worth, I was not really chasing the flush. It's not like I was calling down someone's pot sized bets from the flop on. I made an aggressive semi bluff on the flop which knocked out the initial better by the way. I just happened to run into a monster. If he leads out on the turn I might have been able to lay it down. He checked so I checked not intending to put anymore money in the pot. Then my flush hits on the river. I knew he had some kind of hand, but he could have just had trips and made that play as well. Come on my play isn't that bad is it?

i think you played it fine. 4-handed, that flop is a monster, and i like the raise. you could justify taking one off for $2, but for only $4 more you gave yourself a chance to win the hand right there, found out bb has an 8, and bought a free card.

unfortunately, bb leads for pot on the river when the flush hits...this is a bad sign from a good player. if you have a definite read on him as being solid, you can maybe fold; o/w i don't see how you can lay that down on a $50 table.
