that was the point I was going to bring up. Unless I get raised or CR I really have no reason to think that I am behind. If I get called on the flop and turn after making decent bets, then I should slow down. Is this right?? On a coordinated board obviously slowing doown earleir may happen.

I would suggest betting the same most of the time. You can say 3/4pot or full pot in the flop. Then 1/2-3/4 pot at the turn. River you can mix it up depending on how you feel about your hand. I am quite tight player and I think one of the main reasons people keeps calling me is that I bet those amounts regardless I m bluffin or with the pure nuts.

If you stick to that betting only with overpairs and sets an observant player will notice it and will not call you unless he has you, or something that could outdraw you and stack you.
