When he calls my flop raise I figure he's either got the king or he's got . Should I bet the turn? If he's drawing I'm giving him a free card but if he's got the K or the made flush I'm screwed... I figure I check behind and then call a small river bet unless an A or club shows up, too passive? Or should I simply fold to the flop bet since I don't have a club?

2. I really like ur idea of just calling the river bet if a club does not show up. How ever after he calls your raise u know he eithwer has the A or K. Combine that with the 3 clubs id fold. BUT IM A LIL WEAK!! So I am curious why you are considering still playing the hand??

P.S. Stoneburg I really enjoy all ur posts. The are all very relavent problems that us LLNLHE players face on a day to day basis. I have learned lots of you!

Hand 1. I think pushing with QQ is very read dependant IMO. I would probably raise to about $9-10. If he comes back over the top theres a fair chance I'm beat.

Hand 2. Play is good, you raised for info and he still liked his hand, though you're probably beat

I hate QQ, personally. Killer hand.

#1--Sorry, but I wasn't crazy about it. You're probably beating the shortstack allin. The EP just called, so you probably are ahead here, too, in which case there may be some more money to be made post-flop. What happened?

#2 I think you played this fine. You really can't push too hard, as there are too many hands who beat your queens, which is why I hate them. Don't think he had the flush. If he did, he's weak/tight big time. What happened?

Guys, please post what happened! Put it in a second post, so those who want to guess don't necessarily have to read what happened before they comment. It's like finding somebody has torn out the last page of the story.

Yesterday, against a LAG who came in and was completely maniacal in his first three hands min raised, then came over the top of my raised QQ. I called, caught a Q on the turn and busted his KK. That's one of the very, very few times the ladies have treated me well.

Hand 1-- I love the reraise to isolate. Ice gave me the same advice (forum/viewtopic.php?t=5458). Not sure I'd go to the all in to isolate. Won't that ensure all hands you can get value from will fold and only KK or AA calls? Unsure myself.

Hand 2-- i think you played it well. He didn't respect your reraise on the flop. He probably had A[c]. His bet on the river looks real weak (isn't that 1/4 of pot?). I might CR again.

Hand #1: He called with TT, so "Won't that ensure all hands you can get value from will fold and only KK or AA calls?" isn't correct. I figure that since I *waited* to push he can't put me on AA-QQ but probably thinks I'm trying to isolate with something like AK-AJ or a medium pair. Obviously I was pretty sure the shortstack would push in, but he can't know that. Shortstack showed KJ and my Queens held up.

Hand #2: He showed , I expected to see the not the ... idiotic play by him I think since I very well may have the and the K in which case he's practically srawing dead and will get stacked if he hits.
