AA vs JJ

Postby AlamedaMike » Fri Aug 12, 2005 7:04 pm

Am I susposed to fold when I get re-raised? can I put this jerk on a set of Jacks?

I know from experience when I get called with AA I lose 1/2 the time. When I get raised I lose most of the time.

I guess I could fold on the Turn after a re-raise or check call. It was a re-raise or fold for me. I put him all in.

I could have saved some chips. I work all day to build up my BR and then blow it on one hand.

I KNOW that AA is just one pair and can lose. This is the first time I have lost with AA in the last 20 times I have had them.

Any recommendations? Fold to his reraise or just take the lose like a man - call him down w/o reraising him?

Ill pretty much always CALL that turn raise of his.

Depending on the opponent, I'll call it with a a smile on my face, or tears in my eyes.

Okay, a call and hope - but do not reraise him for sure - thanks

I reviewed all my hands in PT that were AA. I won most of them. Here could he have had a hand like [Ad] [Jd] ?

It seems that when I am raised and I have AA I lose. But, I can not see folding AA in this spot even though I might lose the hand.

I guess it was better to bet less on the Turn, say $18, and then call his re-raise.

But, with AA I am going to put all my chips in the middle.

Iceman says he will not lose is entire stack on AA. He is a better player than I for sure.

Thanks

He could have any range of hands that you raise with that you beat... KK,QQ,AJ,any other big draw... If he has a set, I'm probably losing my stack... But, I'm definitely reraising... He's only got like another $30, and with $150 in the pot, it's all going in anyway... I mean, say you even check the river to him and he pushes... Are you folding then...?
