Tim, don't BTP... just slow, slow play. Don't worry about flush draws. Just set a trap right?

SB checks, Hero bets $5, CO calls $5, SB calls $5.

Surely, they'll blast my weak bet won't they? They COULDN"T be drawing. That's just impossible. Ignore the CO, just focus on the guy you're trapping. The CO is harmless.

SB checks, Hero bets $15, CO raises to $35, SB folds, Hero calls $20.

Wow, well it happens....Last night I actually flopped a set with with AA. It was heads up so I checked the flop. It was checked behind me. I fire in 3/4 pot bet on turn and was called (board was rainbow and no immediate st8 possible)....9 came on rvr giving guy the sr8...thankfully he was not fully stacked......

After revieeing the Hand History, turns out he made a belly buster....runner runner

Maybe the flop chk was weak (was going to chk/raise), but the turn bet easily crushed his odds.....o well

I clearly suffered from fancy play syndrom. I've been doing quite well lately so I start getting too fancy for my own good.

It's ok trodgers, it happens to everybody. FPS is a real problem and we must all learn to deal with it.

The funny thing is you probably would have been stacked on this hand anyway because Mr. isn't folding on that flop.

unless the aggression numbers for both players are high, meaning they bet their draws most of the time, this fancy play is gonna go right over most people's heads, especially at the $50 level. i play $200 and underbet the pot all the time after raising pf, people still constantly fold!

Great point Coke. This guys AF was over 10 though. Still doesn't mean Fancy Play is a good idea
