Monk I have read a bunch of reports online that have done anlysis that says that party is legit but it does seem hard to believe. I cant win a f**** hand with a big pocket pair. The last hand I played on party a couple weeks ago. I get KK, UTG makes it $3, players it comes to me I make it $15 to go. 2 players call flop is 986 rainbow. Checks to me I bet $15, player one goes all in, player 2 calls all-in. I only have $18 left so I call. Player 1 is playing 75 off, player 2 is playin 8/4 clubs. Turn and river are both clubs, 8/4 takes the pot with a flush. First who the f*** opens for a raise with 7/9 off, and who the heck can thses morons call 30% of their stacks with this s*** and still win. In B&M casinos I would just say it doesnt matter this moron will piss away all those chips, but somehow on party the all-in morons seems to win more than they lose. Ok now I am done with my rant and understand why I much prefer B&M to online poker.

Thought I do have to say, Grand Theft auto: San Andres is a great stress reliever after party poker happens. Grab 2 uzi's and shoot anything that moves, it always makes me feel better.

I don't think Party's cards are the problem...it's the stacks. People feel they are commited if they call a raise and hit a flush draw or pair or something.SO ti's all-in, all-in, all-in. It makes the varience insane and intolerable for me. I play on prima only now..(incidentally where I made my first real bankroll) and though sometimes I can't win.....my bad days are never well..."all that bad."

Quick update.... Threw Stars onto the omaha and O8 action tonight, a few $100 buyin games and a 200 O8. Up about 80 bucks, and well on the way to freeing up the bonus. Much more like it.

Well, Stars tonight and another 250 down. Only got the 150 bonus to keep my head above the mire. Getting so sick and tired of this, feel like i'm treading water for two months now. After playing great last night I made one poor play (turned out to be marginally +ve EV but i shouldnt have made it) to lose my stack at $200PLO8, lost a couple of marginal bad beats and won one hand with a one outer (!) where I could and should have won more with a stronger river bet. Hoping to make a big hand or so before the end of the night but the tables look poor so i'm gonna give it another 20 mins then hit the sack.

And why have I forgotten how to play O8???? I must have pissed away $300 at that tonight playing abysmally, what is WRONG with me????? Seems my december away has done very little for me; I can't even complain about bad luck tonight, just feels like a sucked a fat one. Grrrr!

Awww, Monk. It pains me to hear you talk like this. I know how you feel, but you sound like you should not actually be playing poker right now because you're wound up.

Finished level with the bonus, still disappointing though, but guess I can't complain too much at a $150 loss at 100 and 200 buyins. Need to grow a thicker skin at the moment and stop getting annoyed I guess, my "chi" seems to be a little off....
