Brain Fart BB/100 Question

Postby LottaFagina » Wed Aug 10, 2005 10:27 am

OK, I just went completely I blank on the generally accepted evaluation of a "good player".

When people talk about good players winning 1-2 BB/100 hands, they're talking about Big Bets, which are NOT the same thing as the Big Blind, right? And a Big Bet = 2x the Big Blind. So on a NL25 table (.10/.25), this would be $0.50/100 hands, right? Well, 1-2 BB would be between fifty cents and a dollar per 100 hands, right?

Sorry about this 1st grade question, but I had a brain freeze for a moment.

Thanks,
LF

I was going to moved up when I was I was doing around 4-5PTBB/100 bu t followed Ice´s advice of not do it before I reached at least 10PTBB/100.

NL$50 is practically the same. The main difference I ve found is that players cold call less. In NL$25 a 5xxBB PF raise can find 5 callers easily. Yesterday I received AA n KK about 6 times and raised and only found one caller (when I had AA) anfd got busted when KK flopped a set.

I am at 6.75PTBB/100 on my first 3K hands, but I have been playing like crap.
