I can not find the hand history in the Full Tilt folder.
I was two tabling at the time and talking to my wife who just walked in on me (e.g. not paying full attention).
I was BB with
.
Everyone folded except the MP3 and SB. There was about $5.70 in the pot – strange amount. They must have raked it.
In any event, as memory serves me this is what happened;
The flop was;
I had flopped a straight. Cool. How can I make the most of this? The pot is small and I do not want them to fold just yet.
The SB checked and I bet $5. The MP3 called, SB mucked.
The Turn was
. Not good, but no real damage. No flush. Not really afraid of a set (FH) at this time.
Maybe he has two big cards or some hand with a Ten in it.
There is about $21.50 in the pot and I bet $20. A little surprised that he called; maybe he does have a Ten. Good, my straight will win most of the time.
The river is a
no flush. My hand is pretty safe unless he has
or a Full House my hand is good. I do not think either of these hands is that likely. If he called $20 with a bare
then he is pretty dumb and we just split.
Without a lot of thought I go all in for $75. He has $50 left.
He quickly calls and shows
for a full house. OUCH.
Now, I need to review this hand and see if I screwed it up or not. Granted the river is kind of scary. He would be rather dumb to call with any hand less that a straight since any NINE makes a straight. I think he is kind of dumb but this might be a little condescending.
Lets see, he called the flop with a over pair with a pretty coordinated board. That is not too smart in my opinion. Then the board paired top card and he called a pot size bet with the same over pair. What was he thinking?
Maybe my judgment of him being a little dense is about right.
However, maybe I should have checked the river as a precaution. But, he would bet and then what am I going to do?
Comments.
Thanks
