Ok, anyone that reads my posts know I hate min raises yet I find ways to contradict myself and decide to min raise here for information since there are no draws. He had insta called my raise preflop. When he called but lead out again, i decided to see if I could get to a showdown cheap and he obliged by betting small. however, if he raised bigger or all in, I was gonna probably call. Comments?

I would have raised to $25-30 on the flop

I might have raised again on the turn...but on the river i'm not sure if he's value betting or making a blocking bet. Probably would have jst called as well.

Any read on SB? Was he the kind of guy to call a x5bb pfr out of position with say pocket 6s looking for the set.

If no, then I like your play. However, you don't really know if you are up against a set here or not (b/c the min reraise is getting called either way).

If you are planning on calling a massive bet from him, why not reraise the flop more to figure out where you are.

Of course, this is very easy to say when there is no timer and no heat of the moment. Nice grab!
