I played online for the first time almost a month and i felt a little rusty. I think I played this hand ok but wanted some opionions. The villian that ended up beating me is very loose, his VPIP is over 70, he is on his third buy in when this hand comes up.

Ok the converter doesnt seem to like me today so I posted the actual hand history.

hypothetical situation: If the stakes were higher you would probably want to slow down on the turn and try to find out more information with another pot bet (or close to one). after that if he calls, you have to wonder why he is calling, and if he raises you have to really slow down and consider even folding.

but... this is pp .25/.50 and the opponent is loose and fishy, so going all in here is probably inevitable and definitely the correct choice. besides calling with a 4 on the flop, the opponent would have called with: an ace, two over cards, two diamonds, an over pair, a 7, an open ended or belly buster. might as well get the money in on the turn while you still appear to be a favorite over a bunch of hands villain might be holding, and will probably call with.
