I took a long time before calling the flop and turn. The raise on the flop tells me he has a big hand so I'm SURE I'll stack him if the off-suit 4 hits, and he might pay off a flush.. but what if he has [Ah] [Qh]... should I have just folded this on the flop? Or the turn?

I like calling it down with 5-6s in the first hand. You are getting great odds the whole way and I bet you picked up a nice pot. Why get aggressive when the odds are giving you the right price to begin with? You are going to have to make a giant raise to chase out all those callers and it just an overly aggressive move where it isn't necessary. Yes you'll have to play carefully to avoid losing a lot if someone does have a higher flush draw but you have great table position to do that.

Pretty marginal situation in hand #2. Flop call is alright I think but the turn call is pretty marginal. Don't think you have great odds though you might get paid off depending on which outs you hit and the amount you bet. So there are probably some implied odds to help.

ua1176 is right on the money. MsLego called med with T8s for a higher flush. I figured that with no raise on the river my flush should be good, don't really understand why she didn't raise. I was worried about drawing dead the whole hand but the odds were spectacular thanks to the silly betting.

In hand #2 the river was a brick so I folded.

she didnt raise because she NEVER raises, and will never fold unless facing a large bet. you absolutely have to raise and raise healthy because she is almost always in there with a draw.

Crazy thing is I have a note on her after watching her re-raise twice on the turn then checking the river and losing to BOTTOM PAIR. Maybe she had PMS that hand...
