3 minor $5/$10 hands

Postby iceman5 » Fri Jul 29, 2005 10:15 pm

I didnt play any big hands in my short session tonight. 3 hands worth noting.

1) My 1st hand. I post a blind in the cutoff and get 83 offsuit. Whipee! 5 to the flop which comes 863. BB bets $30 and get called 3 times. I raise to $200 straight and they all fold. I was happy with taking it down on the flop considering how many people called that bet. Who knows what the hell they all had. If I got called I wouldve been worried.

2) I limp [Ah][Ks] UTG. 5 to the flop unraised. Flop comes [Ad][6h][7h]. Blinds check and I bet $50. UTG+1 calls. Ive watched this guy play the simulcast TV tables where the hole cards are exposed. He stinks and usually plays much higher. He wuill play any hand and will play it for a raise. J6s..no prob for him.

Pot is now $150. The turn is the [8d]. I bet $100 and he raises to $300. I fold. He plays alot of hands that this board would hit him hard. Im gone.

3) I raise to $40 with QQ. Next guy reraises to $80. I put him on AA or KK. We both have full stacks so I call.

Pot $175. The flop comes AA9. Check/check.
Pot $175. Turn is another 9. I bet $100 and he folds and grumbles about KK sucking. 8)

Nothing else worth noting.

What site were you on and how long did you play for?
If you don't fold the best hand every once in awhile, you're probably not playing your best poker

Prima and Party and I played for a little over an hour. I prefer Prima, but they usually only have 1 or 2 $1000 tables, so I use Party when I need an extra table or 2.
