would you have called the bet at the end?

I would likely have called. If he had hit his flush on the turn, I can't see him checking behind your check. Same story with if he had the trip Queens. IMO the guy was an idiot for calling your flop bet with that kinda draw. Given it's an 8 buck call into a 33 buck pot, I'd say the river call is one I would have to make.

I almost laid the hand down. I hadn't seem him do too many things out of the ordinary. I just thought I was getting a little over 4 to 1 to call on the end, and I figured I was about 60/40 on having the best hand.
