I have no read on Villan other than he has not done anything to out of the ordinary,

I am dealt UTG and make it $1. 2 unknowns call as well as villan from the button.

I lead out for $3. 2 unknowns fold and villan pushes all in!
I was dumbfounded...I let the clock run all the way down, but just could not see losing my entire stack with top pair. I just could not put him on a hand that he would do that with. I mean if he flopped trips he would certainly want to just call, to entice me to put even more money in on the turn. Did he have AT? Any thoughts? And please tell me that folding was the right thng to do.

Definitely the right thing to do, there are so many fish at NL $25 Party that hit the roof when they make a hand that they'll just push all in and hope for a call. I'd say there are better places to get your money in. I can't see anyone doing that with AT. He could have 77, JJ, AJ or maybe AK/AA but i'd say no matter what, you're beat.

I fold as all you really beat is an idiot with AJ or a smaller Ace that isn't 2 pair. I like to limp with AK and AQ preflop in ep as its a hard hand to play without position even when you hit it.
