um..huh?

no way I don't call that!!

I never worry about quads. Ever. If I lose to them I lose to them

plus he only has $13, even if he hit quads you won't lose more than that

yikes

I fold there... especially on Game club $20 tables he could have a pair of 55s and think his "2 pair" are a good hand  Quads are so rare I dont ever worry about them... if he flopped Quads you will just have to pay him off.

of course it has to be a joke. He either misclicked or timed out. However, if he bet 21 cents, i definitely fold it.

I figured at this point I can only beat a bluff, and mini-raise = monster, right? If he's bluffing I'll only win $0.65, if he's got quads he'll double through me....

.... I was busy at another table, ok!?! I *just* got back in time to see what I had and desperately lunge for the raise button... but didn't make it in time.

well, you earned that beat. PAY ATTENTION! For a tight player like me, that could mean the difference between a break even session and a winning one.

This is actually a troll, and we discourage those here at BTP.

You may think me humourless, but you got a few people replying with good intentions, thinking your post posed a real question. These members' efforts have been wasted, and that does not sit well with me.

Sorry about that. I thought it was pretty obvious what had happened and that I was joking. I wasn't aware that you discouraged humoristic posts, will remember that in the future.

Don't mind funny ones mate, but yours was disingenuous in that it encouraged serious answers to a question that you didn't want answering! :D

I'm also a little conscious of what a new visitor would think when reading our NL section, too. If that was the first post they read they may think 'this forum is a waste of time!'.

Anyway, don't worry about it, just bear my comments in mind?

I think Tetsuo may be overreacting, but maybe not. In any case, there's an easy solution here.

Why not go back and edit the original question, just to put a little smiley or something to make clear that you're joking.

For humorous posts like this one, I think this is the rule:

You're only allowed to make joking posts that aren't funny until people think hard and realize they're supposed to be funny ... one day per year. (Today isn't April Fools Day.) Or in the "Anything goes" section.

I got the joke before I ever read the edit. I'm brilliant.

Wasn't there a post like this before where a guy folded quads by timing out?
