If you have seen him call down and fold the river before I bet the pot again. If he has QQ and a K comes off on the river he might fold again, and it is a scare card to you of sorts.

He sounds too passive to make a leading bet that you think he will raise to force him to defend a beat hand, and a check is likely to go check if he is that passive.

Betting pot again might scare him out. Most likly I have him completely dominated. I bet 1/2 pot, it looks like im playing some jack. Any call on his part or raise committs him on the river.

I do this play often actually...

sadly..what usually happens it the guy bets small...like $20. Then you're like hmmm..I guess I'll raise..and then he folds.

he sounds really passive so i like elite's line of thinking.

He doesn't sound like he's the type of player to lay down an over pair. My guess is that he would bet the turn because Ice only showed strength once and it was on the flop, and that looks more like a steal gone awry than anything else.

I checked and he pushed all in.

I called and he showed KQ and missed his open ender. Thats wasnt exactly what I was expecting after a $24 preflop raise.
