Hand #2.

In my pt database, of all hands in all situations, KK is my 2nd biggest loser. Here's another one just a few hours later. Maybe I should just fold KK

UTG is very LAGy and loves to call pot sized bets.

Party Poker (6 max, 6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP with [Kd], [Kc].
4 folds.
Villan pfr of 4 and Hero calls (pot 9)

Flop: [2s], [9c], [Js] (2 players)
Villan best 6. Hereo raises to 45 putting villan all in
UTG calls 44.15 (All-In).

Turn: [8c] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: [Ad] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: (87)

Results in white below:
UTG has Qc As (one pair, aces).
Hero has Kd Kc (one pair, kings).
Outcome: UTG wins .

Umm... Hand 1 you lost the least possible, hand two the muppet got lucky.

I have a question. Wouldn't most of you bet this turn here? You can't put the guy on 22 obviously. More likely he has something like 1010, JJ, QQ, J10. He could have AA, 88 or 99 but he probably let's you know on the turn if you bet and you can get away from the hand right? If he doesn't have one of these trips hands you make him pay for his draw and build youself a good pot if he has one of the other overpairs. I just think that the check on the turn may be a bit weak, because that board just is not too scary on the turn there. Am I way off base here? Is this a pretty standard play for most of you to check behind on the turn.[/img]

I just wanted to clarify that my prior comments related to the first KK hand in the series of posts. I don't understand why this is not considered a weak-tight play.
