thought i would post up my results for this month, since i happened to 'lose' 2k last month because of my own stupidity, i dropped down to grind the 25's a bit to replenish my roll (fairly non-existent at this point, since i have to eat and stuff).

last 8k at 25nl

Image

running pretty good too. i'm up like over 100 dollars in equity.

Image

and running (and playing) like crap at the 50's this month.

i also saved up some rakeback and fucked around at 1,2, and 4nl. though to be honest, i didn't actually mean to play at th 400's, i thought i was buying in a 2nl game. after posting my big blind, i figured waiting a lap or two couldn't hurt, since there were 3 shorties at the table. i ended up picking up aces and pushing it in preflop against one of the short stacks and held (he had 99). yay.

Image

i really should stop over extending. it's going to hurt me one day. i did manage about 3 stacks at the 1nl over about 1k hands, so that was pretty sweet. doesn't hurt to run about 20 bucks positive in equity.

Image

though to be honest, unlike the majority of the serious posters on this site, i'm don't take the whole poker thing quite as seriously. i mean, i like to use rakeback deals and bonus and whatnot (i mean it's like free money; who doesn't like free money?), and i do try to improve my game and such, like looking back over sessions occasionally and trying to modify my game (like working to get my pfr and vpip closer), but it's really kinda just fun to play poker. i mean, if i didn't enjoy the whole making difficult decisions on the spot and seeing how i evaluated the situation, i don't think i would play poker, regardless of being able to win over x amount of hands. i guess i'm just trying to justify my constant stabs at limits over what i 'should' be playing. i think it's more fun. lol. regardless, if i lose a stack at the 'higher' limits, i've always had the sense to stop playing at those limits. except like three years ago when i dropped like 8k playing 5/10. yeah. except for that.

i really should be more stringent about bankroll requirements, especially since i don't intend to stop playing poker any time soon. i'd hate to go busto.
