Aisthesis, you are right on here. Another move that works well is limp with a strong hand like AK or AQ any PP over 8 and when he raises preflop make a large limp raise, this is assuming that no one behind you has shown stregnth in the hand. Worst case is you are going to be a coin flop, then make a strong continuation bet. The only way to deal with a bully is the same as it is in real life, stand up for yourself. Another play I really like is take the worst hand you see and bluff him, since you have a solid read on him you should be able to know when you can do this. It slows down a lot of bullys when you show a bluff with 32o. Once you have the bully slowed down now all you have is a weak tight player that is under your control.
