This is a tight player (VPIP=15%) that I've seen for 250 hands. He's never seen me make this move.

What do you do when you have AA in the BB, a player raises small end everyone folds, so you get frustrated? Answer below:

Given that he's preflop raise % was 3%, I was sure he had a good hand. I got the idea of this play after a limp-raise all-in last week that worked very nicely.

Ive done similar things to that by going all in preflop for $200 with AA and gotten called 2 out of 3 times so far. You would think in a $200 game people wouldnt fall for it, but they do.

One guy raised to $14 and I pushed in for $200 and he called with JJ. Heres the funny part. A guy in MP alomst called and later said he had QQ.

The flop was QJ6 and I rivered an ace. Can you imagine what happens if I try to get cute and just call the $14 and QQ calls also?

I've done that with KK against a muppet who raised to $2 with JJ. I just went all in with KK for $50 knowing he liked to make heroic calls. Stacked him there although the flop and turn was horrible before I knew what he had, I held up.

However, saying "lets gamble" is usually a sure fire tell you have a good hand and if he paid attention, he should realize that. I think I remember a post from Rhound where someone said lets gamble and he folded his QQ face up and the guy showed him KK.

since reading your post this morning ive tried it 3 times with AA... just gone all in pre flop..

on all tables i was showing vpip of less than 20.

ive left out the board cards as they arent really important..

these 3 hands show that ppl dont put you on AA at all... who in their right mind would open raise or re raise all in with rockets...

on an even more interesting note is how ppl seem to treat me after these hands..
i think this move is great advertising... and will induce far more action later on

It's amazing on the low limits... you can just move in with AA and 50% of the time get called. wonderful stuff.
