$1/$2 NL 6 max

Villain is a pretty good regular. Im not afraid of him or anything because he isnt overly tricky, but hes very solid and I respect his game.

He raises to $7 UTG. I call UTG+1 with [Td]. We're heads up to the flop. I start with $275 and he covers me.

Pot $17. Flop [9c][4d]. He bets $9. I call.
Pot $35. Turn . He bets $25. I know I'll get paid off if I hit so I call again.
Pot $85. River . So I hit, but so did a back door flush. He fires out full pot. Its $85 to me and I still have another $150 on top of this $85.

Call or push?

Shove, the ONLY hand we are scare of here is , then again if he is decent I don't see him calling with much less than QQQ

How about waiting till the timer almost goes off and then pushing for full dramatic effect.

I think its a push for sure. How often do you see 3 full bullets. He's probably setted or two paired for sure and I no way give him credit for the flush raising UTG and 3 barrelling.

How come no flop raise? Aren't you really calling preflop with the designs of taking it away a good portion of the time given villians style?

QJ and QTs are also possible...I at least call...I think I shove because I don't think he has a flush, and he'll call. He has something like AQ here a lot.

He also plays AA, KK and QQ like this too.

I think those hands make more sense out of a tightish UTG raiser.

Meh....I shouldve pushed I guess. Based mainly in which flush cards are on the board. It will be rare that he has a flush. I called and he had QQQ.

If I shove, hes in a real pickle, but I cant see how he can lay that down even knowing I can have JT. He had the so unless I floated the flop with something like [5c] (which is possible) Im almost never going to have a flush.

not to hi-jack the thread but I feel this is relevant. If we are calling in these situations where we can't even have the second nuts is it better to raise or fold?

Yikes...please fold that cheese preflop. As for the hand, no, I dont think you have to raise or fold. I call or fold.

I expected "FOLD PREFLOP" response but this guy was super passive and giving me his blinds every round should i not raise him everytime? its a freeroll at this point and he's not catching on.

Obviously I don't want to value stack myself and he could be playing a set tricky but he has basically bet his stack and i've got a straight on a paired board.
