WPT- Ladies night

Postby iceman5 » Wed Dec 22, 2004 7:51 pm

Did anyone see the WPT event..Ladies night part 2?
It was the first non-repeat theyve shown in a while. The woman who won, Isabella something, used to be the poker room manager of the place where they hold the WPT Paris event. And she is smokin! They way she moved, her facial expressions, everything about her was hot hot hot. Oh yeah, she plays pretty well also.

Another thing of some interest (at least to me). Clonie Gowan who won the 1st Ladies night and was at the final table this time lives about 5 miles from me and shes pretty hot herself. Ive played her several times at Full Tilt and chatted with her quite a bit. She a real class act.

By the way, I played John Juanda 2 nights ago at $2/$4 NL. He was apparently playing on his laptop in an airport. His plane started boarding so I only got to play about 2 orbits with him. He raised EVERY single pot preflop. I didnt get anything better than J9 and folded 2 rounds of blinds to him.

I don't get the travel channel because comcast doesn't carry it so I only get to see some when I can download them.

When you said juanda raise every pot, is that every single hand or just the ones he plays? That limit must feel like nothing to pros that play them so they may use it to blow off some steam. I know Negraneu (spelling) does that.

He raised EVERY pot...he played every pot and he raised them all. Fullt Tilt has about 10 pros that are under contract to play there a certain number of hours per month.

If they lose, its their own money theyre losing so its not like theyre going to throw it away. And believe me, he was winning. But yeah, Im sure he doesnt play like that when hes playing for "real" money. Thats why I like to play with the pros at Full Tilt. I dont care who it is, if hes going to raise evey pot, I can beat him. But better yet, every yahoo in the world joins the table to play with a pro which makes the game pretty soft.
