$50NL, trying to clear the GD bonus at Party... I have $60... villian has me covered...

I get dealt in the BB... Villain in MP raises to $3... I reraise to $8 ... MP calls...

Flop ... I bet about the pot, which is about $17... He minraises to $34...

What do you guys do... I have about $35 behind me... I know the whole "minraise=monster" thing... But, is his monster AK or KK...??? Or, does it not matter, cause you're pushing anyway...?

eh....AK of spades would suck. There's actually more then one hand beating him...TT is also a strong possibilty.

I dunno MVP...if this were a higher limit game I might actually fold that hand. Since it's Party 50's I probably push. If it were the 200s i think i would lay it down. Min raises just reek so much power.

I really think he has KK or TT. If you push , youre getting 3-1. Youre risking another $35 to win $103.

Tough spot. If the guy has shown ANY fishy tendencies whatsoever, I push. If not, I might lay it down. In a bigger game, I have to fold it.

If I don't have a read on the guy I don't think I can fold this, especially given how much money you put in the pot already. Too many players think their AK is golden here, maybe this guy is one of those.

If your opponent had KK, it looks like he had a good enough read to figure out you have AA since he didn't reraise you preflop. I would put a note on this player, but I'm not sure how I would apply that on a future hand, maybe someone has an oppinion. Would you bet only half pot so you don't commit yourself with an overpair, and fold to a raise?

Disclaimer: Since I was talking to MVP on another table, I know what the opponent has. AA vs KK is a great spot to be, you got outdrawn but if would have been the same if you got all in preflop. It's one of those cases that's in the hands of probability theory...
