I totally disagree with what Roy said that tells are useless. They are certainly usefull in a lot of ways. A lot of people who havent played a lot of live poker tend to either put way to much stock in them or way to little stock in them. Tells are not the end all be all, but in poker any small piece of information can push you in the right direction in making a big correct decision. The hand that I posted in BB/LC the villain gave me an almost 100% tell on the river that he was strong and I was almost able to get away from top set when I was beat. If I had AA instead I can easily fold in a spot where I call most of the time without that information.

Kenny like I said when I'm there everyone around me runs well........ Your welcome. In that JT hand I'm surprised you weren't sure you were ahead when you got it all in on the turn. The first guy who we all assumed had an overpair could really only have had the best hand if he had JJ IMO. The 2nd guy was on a draw 100% which was why I called for the . Its always kinda tite when you call for a card and hit it.THe guy with an overpair may also have had QQ/KK meaning that between the two you probably were dodging 15+ cards on the river, way to not get sucked out again your welcome.

That was a really sick bluff against the awful player. I really thought you had to have a monster when you raised the river. I wasn't paying enough attention to the hand to see what you saw but that guy is not the normal type player to bluff. He was the call first ask questions later type. This may sound weird but you may have also been able to win by calling. There is a decent chance that he had draw that missed and that river was his bluff attempt and you rebluffed. I'd say 50/50 that you missed draw queen high was better than his. Either way a and I am pretty sure he stacks off to you on the river.

PS Please stop folding quads, they almost always hold up.

Just a quick update:

Didn't play too much last week as a friend was here. I've been playing mostly a mix of 3/6 and 5/10. It's going well. I'm down with AA overall since I keep losing 200BB stacks to cold deck hands. Still, all is looking good.

I'm getting a new computer in a few days. w00t!
