$1/$2 NL 6 max at Bodog.

I raise to $7 UTG. MP call and BB calls.

Pot $22. Flop [Kd][6c]. BB checks, I bet $19. MP calls.
Pot $60. Turn . I check, he hits the 1/2 pot button and I call the $30.
Pot $120. River . I lead $34. What does this line look like I have?

From an aggro player this looks like something wanting to be raised, I guess.

I have a hard time getting inside your head, so I won't even guess. It's not a bluff, that's all I know.

A turn check raise is ok, but I like it much better against a known bad player. That line looks like a monster.

Heres how I see it. I check the turn thinking he will bet just about any hand he called the flop with. I still think Im ahead, but if I check raise, he probably only calls with hands that beat me. He might call with AT, but I cant imagine him calling with any other hand that I beat unless hes horrible.

If I just call and then bet this $30 something on the river, hes alot more likely to call with any ace (that he wouldve probably checked behind on the river), maybe KQ and possibly even other junk because my line looks very weird.

Maybe I could make the river bet $50ish.

You know, my first thought was that the bet was way too passive, but I'm not at all sure that's the case. I'd probably go 40, which as I recall was 1/3 pot, but I really think something like that is fine. The idea is to get a call out of KQ or AX, so I'm not sure about pushing it harder except for possible meta-game value.

After thinking about it, I really don't mind the passive bet here. I think the best value is one that gets a fair number of bad calls and only gets a raise when you're beat.

Are you calling if he shoves? That weak river lead looks like it's begging to be shoved on.
