Hey everybody, I'm Jon. Marshall has been harassing me to start a journal here so I finally did. He introduced me to poker like 3 1/2 years ago and has taught me since then. I have a lot of really solid ABC knowledge, but I'd like to keep getting better and move up the limits. I just cracked the $2K mark on Cake after a little over a week ($1300 net profit which includes $290 bonus) playing $50NL. I have no idea how I turn a profit, and sometimes the plays I make almost look like I enjoy setting money on fire. So, check out the stuff I post and comment if you want to, I'd appreciate your feedback and I'll try to return the favor when I have time. It'll get really interesting for me when I try bumping up to online $100NL for the first time sometime in the next month.

so i lost like 8 BIs fri night and requested a cash out and went for a 2 hour walk downtown minneapolis, came back, cancelled the cash out then made it all back - later that night i met a girl who has now slept over twice in the 5 days ive known her - some really good stuff happened last night, except for the part where i got a 50% case of erectile dysfunction, which, and believe you me, has NEVER been a problem before - there is a lack of excitement around her cuz she wasnt like a crush of mine, she just like showed up and i was like "...sweet" - maybe my subconsious and autonomic nervous systems are teaming up to tell me something - whats my play here? - i feel obligated to marry her, probably because i am completely braindead and have no idea how to interact with girls
