I have watched a couple of documentaries on how things function in Nordic countries, especially Sweden and every time I was really really impressed with the system.
I mean, if you are having a baby, a government send a truck to your house to give you all the necessary supplies so that you can care for the baby properly (I might have miswrote it a bit, but that's how I understood it). There are bunch of nice things about the Swedish system and I for one would be much happier if Croatian system would be anything like Swedish (with taxes and everything) but that's not gonna happen..
Btw. I read somewhere that Swedish govt invites foreigners to come to Sweden, learn the language in a year or so, and then govt gives them a place to stay (an apartment) and social benefits.. I guess they have to take the nationality then or something.. true? false? misinterpreted?
