10. Magnolia
-Tiresome, sappy, long, and just overall sad to see how bad it could be given who the cast was. Kinda what monk said, except trying not to soung as gay as monk does when sayin it, etc.

9. Deer Hunter
-It was an ok move after the first hour (nothin totally spectaular imho, but pretty cool) but anyone who sat through that hour long wedding segment in the beginning doesn't even deserve to see a decent second half anyway. Not that the movie turns out to be that bad or anything, but it won an award, and everyone seemed to think it was oh-so-tite.

8. Dances With Wolves:
-Kevin Costners a poofter and everyone knows it. Dances was total cheese, sterotypical hollywood jew crap about how americans were mean to the mud races and some soulful, compassionate, thinking american soldier went n committed various acts of treason, which were glorified. Also, the thing was like 42 hours long and was narrated by kevin 'the poofter' the whole way through. UGH.

7. A Beautiful Mind
-Okay, I mean whatever, it was ok but besides the fact that Jennifer Connelly was in it, what else was so spectacular about it? I mean FFS, she didnt even get naked. If your gonna ship an award to a meh-ish movie based on her (fine in my book) do it for one where she gets naked, which is like practially every one she did prior to House of Sand and Fog, it seems to me. I have mixd feelings about Russel "the poofter" Crowe as an actor (For all the accolades he gets, all i see him seeming to play is his big stupid self, whether its a professor-ish version of his big stupid self, a gladiator version, or a boxer version...)

6. TItanic
-I'm not even gonna go into this, the thing was pure hollywood cheese/crap/garbage, leos a poofter, Kate didnt even show her tits for that long (compared with what she does in like EVERY other movie she's in). This movie doesnt even make it on the viewers choice list though, which is good, but shit, it won 91289123 awards... And the fact that it took the awards away from Good Will Hunting is just plain sad.

5. Annie Hall
-Pretty much every woody allen movie is overrated imho, but that may just be a matter of taste...(wherease the rest of the movies im namin are objectively overrated OBV)

4. Brokeback Mountain
-To be fair, i have never seen this movie. I was gonna put eternal sunshine here, but yknow what? Gimme a fuckin break, ghey cowboize?! UGH, ban plz...

3. (and third most overrated movie) : SAVING PRIVATE RYAN
-This movie may not be like the highest rated movie evah, but like EVERYONE loooves it, and it did well at the awards, etc. This movie was at the absolute most, like everyone said, a good peice of cinema/filmaking in terms of its realism or its action scenes (I dno i wasnt at the Dday beach head--but the way i figger it is if enough jews throw enough shekels into a movie, it's gonna start lookin good).. other than that it was just a war movie, and not even a good one, just a typical schmaltzy hollywood portrayal of a way through the eyes of a whiney poofter (tom H)...and like, could it get ANY cheesier than that other dood in his little 'becoming a man' sideplat?? UGH, GMAFB....also, the entire premise that the govt would care enough to find that last brother in that situation pretty much borders on govt propaganda, a la leni reifenstahl...i mean GMAFB, do people expect anyone to beleive the govt cares enough to do that? And even if they tried to, they'd endup sued by the parents of other soldiers, and prolly lose. H8 this movie.

2. BRAVEHEART
-Yeah, i mean it was not too bad. Mels a poofter, obv...but the thing was decent. But i just dont get why its the number one fave movie of like everyone born between the years of 1975 and 1982ish...What makes this one so much titer than like gladiator, or say, gangs of new york, is just beyond me.
1. (im gonna get bitched at for this i bet, but...) THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION

-Schmaltzy as all hell, implausible in alot of spots, blatant feelgoodism....morgan and robbins are pretty tite, but i thought the movie was just way overdone and went outta its way to create emotive effect, and thus appeared to me to just be cheesy in alot of spots (ole man killin himself, the last scene, that scene where andy plays the record and morgans reflection during that scene, etc.)... Mind you i really liked this movie till i got baked and watched it and was like WHOAH...this thing is cheesy implausible poofery, not a poigniant masterpeice....MEH.

I absolutely agree with MK about Shawshank Redemption being soooo overrated. It is typically the favourite film of people whose favourite actor is Tom Hanks which is great indicator of idiocy IMO.

I didn't like A Beautiful Mind either, and all the people in my life who think I'm smarter than I actually am told me I was gonna love it.
