Party 1/2 NL

Well I moved back down to 1/2 for a while till I can get this bad streak under wraps. I'm not sure I like my play here. how else do I go about this hand? I had about $200 he had me covered.

One note. I saw him min raise a flop bet earlier with two pair.

My own evaulation...I think calling on the flop is too weak. He might have a set..but it's just as likely that he has K[Qd] or an AK. So I like my raise..but I don't think it was enough. I want to get my money in on the flop when I have the best odds to hit my hand. I did not put enough of a bet to commit myself for a rag card on the turn..

I think I should have reraised his $32 bet to about $140 and then there is no way either of us is folding...(if he decides to call.)

I think I flat call his raise. Theres a very good chance he has a set and if he wants to give me odds to hit the flush, Im going to take them.

I played almost this exact hand in a $5/$10 game except , I had 3 callers so the pot was bigger meaning my flop bet was bigger. His raise was also bigger than a min raise.

Because the pot was already so big and I had alot more of my stack in already, there was really no way to just flat call, so I pushed. He did have the set and I missed all my outs.

I like it.

Here's the problem. He had a set of 4's. When I moved in on the turn...I don't even think I was a 20% to win. So now what do you guys think?

I would have has just called his flop reraise. With that scary flop, his reraise tells me he can beat an overpair. So now you are really just gunning for the nutflush with your A of diamonds. You are at a 35% chance of hitting. I want to try to keep the pot sized smaller when I'm the dog rather than escalate.

I'd expect a set or low flush here most of the time so take the good odds and just call the flop when he raises. Then again, it's going to be hard folding when he bets the pot on the turn
