Hey guys, was wondering if you wouldn't mind checking out a song and giving me a critique on it. It's definately leaps above my first one that I posted here. It's gotten some good feedback from other places, but they're all real technical, like "Your bridge doesn't transition from 4/4 to 15/8 correctly" or something like that. I just want some feedback from people who enjoy music.

By the way, the quality isn't great, but it's a lot better than the first song I posted. Will be buying real equipment this week or next!

Flop... I'm assuming its the song that plays at your blog... If so, I think it kicked some serious ass... I'm not a metal fan by any means, but it had a really good beat... Although, you did bridge your transition from 7/18ths to 3/4th a little weak (I don't know what the fuck that means, but it sounded like some good music jargon)...

Honestly, good to go in my book...

Thanks a ton dude!

(For a second I thought you were serious about the beat changes and I was listening to the song saying... wtf mate?)

Very catchy, I liked it. This is probably a dumb question, but Is there going to be another version with drums/bass/lyrics?

Yah, I'm buying some decent recording equipment soon so I will be able to get the song completed... though we don't have a singer right now so it might be temporarily instrumental.

Edit: And thanks for the feedback!

I like most of it, and yes, that's coming from a metal-head back in the day. But...

OK, that bridge *was* pretty weak.

Most of the guitar work is really good, except for where it's just "wailing on the strings". Seems like filler. Fill it with the rest of the song. Bass. Drums. Some half-clothed hot chick screaming unintelligible lyrics about sex. Or drugs. Or sex on drugs.

Finish it! ;)

Yah, the wailing on strings is *supposed* to be the chorus, but my recording makes it far too distorted. What was the exact problem with the bridge? I know there's probably something wrong with it, but I can't tell what... I think it would sound pretty cool with harmonized guitars

Thanks for the feedback! Keep 'em coming.

Ok guys I re-recorded it with a crappy mic and my brand spanking new tube amp. The bridge was a tad out of time cause I didn't really remember what it was

More crits are plenty welcome.
