Yes, but it was supposed to be 3 seasons of 16 episodes each to wrap up the series instead of 2 of 24. It was a compromise between producers and ABC so that ABC would get a third season without jeopardizing the integrity of the story they want to tell.
Now the first of the 16 will be cut in half due to the strike. It could be saved if they settle soon, but I doubt it.
