I start the hand with $800 or so, good aggressive player to my right covers by a lot.

I get dealt [Kd], good aggressive player raises to $14 in MP, I 3bet to $55 from the BB, player calls.

Flop: [Kc][Qc], I lead for 2/3 pot, player calls.
Turn: , I check for pot control, player checks behind.
River: , I check, player bets pot, my action?

Interested to hear opinions on all streets.

Pre is fine. Flop is fine. Turn I don't like but I'm not that upset about. River I dislike pretty strongly, what did you have in mind when you checked?

Lee if you seriously think Ax bets this river more often than it calls this river, you are a retard.



P.S. The size of the river bet is gonna be much more favorable when we bet it, as opposed to when he checks and he makes a retardo 1/3rd pot bet.

I could perhaps see a busted flush draw betting the turn and AQ making river value bet...

I agree with you when you say stick it all in if we had 100BB stacks, but i'm not convinced ill ever be ahead if we end up all in for 200BB each...

My jaw basically hit the floor as he had been super tight preflop till this hand.

After reading the responses, turn bet seems like a must. I think we can bet/fold turn. Sick part is that as Xas has mentioned, all strong hands should really raise flop this deep. Slowplaying anything there would be super bad, even if villain has AxAc. On turn we must assume we are ahead given the flop action but i don't see what calls us, but again if we are ahead we must charge possible draws and AQ since river club would kill or action. I think that we really must bet turn now since I cant see how we can be behind. If he raises he must be really sick to bluff at this point so its either a poorly played hand that was ahead of you or a awkward bluff.
