I cant paste in just the photofor this place, but this photo is looking north and my hometown is the north side of this flood.

I am not sure how much this made the national news but the north coast of oregon to the middle of the coast of washington was hit by hurricane force winds on Sunday, the storm dumped rain and washed out bridges and roads and caused flooding over a huge area, the worst on the I-5 corridor where I grew up. several small town were completely cut off and without power and I-5 was shut down between Seattle and Portland for about 5 days. In the picture there is a Kmart WalMart, Home Depot and several other small businesses flooed, there was around 10 feet of water on the freeway.

That's a hell of a flood. Is that area in a small valley or something? That ,ay be the highest floodwater I have ever seen.

we had a bad flood there when I was lving there that put 7' water in my parents house, we got pulled out by the guard and spent a month living in motel 6.

My aunt lived in Oly, Oly was the "big city" for us.
