MP is 31/9/2.2 over 100 hands seems to like to flat occasionally on the flop. . button is an idiot/station, running about 20/4

I have $400. Button has $330. MP has $500.

I'm dealt [6h] UTG> i limp. MP Limps. Button limps. both blinds play.

5 way flop.

$20. [6c][9c]. I bet $16, and get called by both MP and button.

$65 pot. turns the . I bet $55. both call again.

$230 pot. rivers the . i bet $150. MP shoves. button folds. it's $175 more to me.


I'm sure some of you hate my turn bet, and think I should have gone for full pot instead of $10 under, but whatever.

Anyone able to fold this river? Anyone prefer a check call on this river? anyone think you'd have to be an idiot not to beat MP into the pot here?

wow the only hand I can put him on here that plays it like he did is , well I don't even know if they have to be clubs. Just T8 in general. But I really can't imagine him just calling the turn with that after you continue to show some serious strength. unless he is certain that button will call as well and is willing to gamble if button is on a flush draw. I guess is a possibility as well.

From your tone in your post it sounds like you lost the had, but I think I got to call here on the river. I am not all crazy happy about it, but I can't fold getting over 2 to 1.

And I want to add I prefer the bet/call then the check call. I think you let a lot of random 2 pair hands off the hook by checking on the river.

I can't fold this although you are beat here a lot. The problem is his line makes no sense unless he has exactly [8c] so I would call and laugh when he flips over 99 or JJ.

God...I see now why i quit FR. Its like playing PLO..I have bottom set and start shitting my pans when i get action.
I dont know if its standard to fold or not. However, he shoved over your strong bet with still a player yet to act. If you think that he could never do this with random two pair feel obliged to fold. He is bluffing here almost never.
So he has a hand. Its on you to determine if he overvalued his hand(I haven't played FR in 18 months so I cant tell for sure)

well, a few of you got it spot on with T8. Though it was spades, not clubs, but that's somewhat irrelevant. He was floating the flop with a gutshot, probably planning to bet if i checked, then turned a much bigger draw and decided to see one more card.

I did think about KT ice, though there's no difference at this point between the two hands.

like a lot of you, despite putting him on the straight, I couldn't fold getting the price I was. go figure, this happened as I had unposted my blinds on every table. I can't count the number of times I get into these types of hands when I'm leaving the tables.

the easy solution is to just leave obv...quit waiting for the blinds to come back arround...
