Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

You should probably get mulitple rescue clubs. Basically they replace 3 woods down through 5 irons depending on what you like. I carry an 18 degree which replaces my 2 iron. My irons are 4-PW. I am probably going to change to a 16 and 21 degree and get rid of my 3 wood.

In tournament play if you can't find you ball you have to take stroke and distance. This is a lost ball rule - similar to out of bounds. Worst penalty you can get - you must go back to where you originally hit the ball and take a penalty. This would mean that you are now hitting your 3rd shot from the tee.

Now when you are just playing with your friends and having a fun game just take a stroke penalty and drop near where you lost it. This saves time and the group behind you won't hate you.

Once you get better you can do this - If you suspect you hit a ball and it may be lost (not in a hazard though) You can declare a provisional ball. So just re-tee right there and if you don't find your first ball you can go to the second one and be hitting your fourth shot.

A) Im in.

B) I agree.

C) I WAS a putting-odds fish. Now I have more of an idea of how ridiculous some putts are to make.

Brag: In other news, I shot 100 today, HOLLA. It was weird. I didn't hit a single good drive ALL DAY, it was tilting me hard. I think it was because I was using clubs I'm not used to/probably bad clubs. The rest of my shots were pretty sick though. I got my first birdie too on a par 4. [/brag]
