AK hand limped

Postby briachek » Tue Jun 21, 2005 3:57 pm

Both villains weren't impressively stupid or smart as far as I could see. I should have raised preflop but I just took the beat on the other table so I was only half paying attention when I just called. Did I play this right?

UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, CO raises to $1, 1 fold, SB calls $0.75, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50.

More or less I think so, I probabaly would have raised to $12 but I don't think that changes anything significantly here. You were well well pot-committed to make the call and indeed got your money in against not one, but two inferior hands drawing to 7 outs.

You played it well and got your money in as favorite, but the cards didn't go your way. That's about all you can do, and just try to get over it when you get outdrawn...
