$1/$2 NL All parties have about $200. Its my 3rd hand at the table and I limp UTG with [Jd].

Folded to the button who raises to $10. Sb calls and I call.
The button is fairly straight forward but the SB is a fool.

Pot is $32. The flop comes [Qs][Jh]. Hmm., this is real good or real bad.

SB checks. I decide to check also. If SB calls a bet, Im going to raise, maybe all in. The button could easily have AA or QQ here but he could also have AK, AQ, AJ, KK, KQ. I mean, Im sure he hit the flop but how hard?

Button bets $24, SB folds. I flat call which Im not sure about.

Pot is $80. The turn is the . The [Qs] and are accounted for so Im not worried about the flush, but he may not be either. I lead for $50 and he calls. I still cant narrown down his holdings much more.

Pot is $180. the river is a brick. I shove the rest in (abour $115 I think).....Thoughts?

Does he call? Do I win? What does he have?

Ice, if you respect him or have him as a good player, why would you push there?

If he was a bozo I would say he has AK and probably is going to call, in this scenario if he calls you you are beat, probably by a flush. What if he raised with , or with , ? It Would have been a nice flop for him to make a continuation bet...

I really want to know why you pushed there....

I like it. The problem is when you run into Aces orQueens..but not much you can do about that.

Very few players raise with suited connectors and the ones who do almost never raise to 5BBs. They usually min raise or make it 3BBs. Ive never seen this guy do it.

I think he wouldve raised my turn bet with AA or QQ. If he didnt because he was afraid of the flush, do you think he would call my all in? In other words, I could get a better hand to fold and I might get a worse hand to call because he doesnt believe I have the flush.

Im not sold on my play, but couldnt think of a better way to play it.

Ill give results shortly. Id like to get a few more responses.

I don't like to limp JJ UTG. It becomes much easier to play when you bring it in for a raise, particularly because of the fact that when you call a raise oop with it and flop an overpair it is almost impossible to know where you stand.

That said, I like your flop and turn play. It looks like he has AK probably with the Ks (or possibly AQ). If he has AK he probably won't call an all-in if he's good. If he has AQ he probably will. If you bet $60-70 I think he calls with either hand. It's really a close decision but since the pot is big the all-in is probably fine. I can't really see you being beat here but I have seen stranger things so who knows.

I actually like a smaller bet on the river I think. AK may fold here, but he won't for 50.

If he has A's or Q's, who cares. Suck it up to variance if he does.

He called with AQ

Im really not sure what the answer to any of your questions are. I knew he had AA, KK (with Ks), AK, AQ, QQ or AJ but had no idea which one. I think he plays all of them the same , although he may raise my turn bet with AA or QQ, Im not sure.

SB would call that flop with alot of hands like KJ or AT, so I wanted him to put some dead money in and if he did, I was going to blast them with a large pot committing check raise.
