What's The Golden Compass like?

I think it's been a very weak year for movies so far to be honest...maybe the Harry Potter one was the best I've seen in the cinema (IMAX with some 3D bits in)

I think the new-gen 3D ones might make movie-going an experience again if they can get past the eye candy tricks and actually release some decent films in it...
