Okay this is a hand that came up a few days ago and I am not sure how to maximize my play. This is at a 50 NL six max table on Cake. Both the villian and me have built up our stacks to around 175. He seems to be like most players on Cake, not very aggressive, calls too much.

I have on the button. Villian is UTG+1. He raises to 2 dollars and I repop to 8. He calls. (He hasn't been raising much at all so I was suprised he raised and then called my reraise)

He bets 14 into me? Again more aggression that I am not used to. What should my line be from here? What could villian possibly have to bet into a reraise?

ideally he's got AJ or JJ...44 maybe? KQd?

if you just call the flop you need to be betting/raising any turn imo.

Do NOT smooth call with straight draw and flush draw on flop. Get it in.

Raise the flop to around 50, hope he pushes with 2pr/lower set/draw. or you get it in on the turn. There's no point in slowplaying, he either has a hand to go with or not. You don't want to let him draw out on you and lose a huge pot.

If I raise though and he folds his draws and random Ax type hands (he is really weak tight) I will win a decent pot. Is there any merit to calling and trying to get a great turn river combo. Like he has KQs and catches his flush on the river, but I full housed the turn type of affair. I mean a 700BB type pot sounds real fun. Also poker2006 who pushes their 2 pair/draw hands for over 300BB after a reraise preflop? I haven't met many people that do that this deep.

if he's weak tight like he sounds then he doesn't have KQs. I think the two most likely hands here are AK/JJ. neither of which is likely to go away right away. but both of which are likely to be scared if a diamond shows up on the turn.

raise this flop to $35 or so. I'm not worried about a diamond showing up, but i am worried about him being worried about a diamond showing up. give him a chance to protect his hand on the flop, and continue betting ~2/3 of the pot on the turn and river if he's calling you.
