Uh is this your way of telling me that I suck at poker Red?

Even with the total gayness of that full house vs quads hand, i am running good.

So I was getting frustrated at NL100 because I kept losing with really good hands. set over set, flush over flush, and top set vs. every imaginable beat. So I was getting real passive because I had a bad table image and because I was frustrated. So I was playing bad/break even/losing poker. So I decided to drop down for a bit and remember how to be aggressive. Because even against a bunch of donk slowplayers and calling stations it is really good to be aggressive. So I dropped down to 25nl for a while, and won 100 bucks in 161 hands, playing like 28/21. Then I moved up to 50nl because I was not taking that shit seriously, and I won like 150 today in a thousand hands, playing 20/15.

I guess the level of the play in the three levels wasn't noticeably different. There are maybe 1 or 2 more regs at 100nl than 50nl, but there are still donks everywhere. I think the biggest difference is the comfort of shoving my stack in the middle. I look at $100 and (LOL to the high stakes players if they read this) it seems like a lot of money, subconsciously. This is retarded with a 5k bankroll. But I think it will take me a little while to get comfy at the new stakes.

The most interesting thing I found was that 2 weeks ago I would not have been comfortable playing as aggressively at NL50 as I am now that I have played five thousand hands of NL100. My perception of the money changed that fast. Wonder how I can jump-start that process for NL100? Go play some NL200? That can't be the right plan...If anybody gets to this point, I would love to hear some ideas. Maybe I will cross post this part in BR management.

Anyway, I know tl;dr.

Thanks for the advice guys. I dropped down for a while, to just get the feel for my game again. I've been running crushing the game at .50nl, obviously I run hot as soon as I move down. Last couple days I've been going at 12ptbb/100, which is just so fun. But I have to go to work at freakin 545 again tomorrow morning. I'm hoping I can take Wednesday off and just grind a few thousand hands.

Super meh sessions.

lost a little bit. Never really got anything going. Lost 66 on a 688 flop. Lost KK to 66 on an 884 flop. Obv if the board has two 8's on it I should just open fold no matter what I have.

Anyway. Hope to do better tomorrow.

Dang when I don't have to go to work, I can make some decent money at poker. Won about $250 today in a little over 6 hours of playing. I played a mix of .25/.50 and .50/1. I don't think I played great, but my opponents are so terrible...oh well.
