Kid... there's NO ONE in the world that can convince me that, no matter how bad and fishy the worst Party online players are, live players are 10x worse... I've NEVER played a 1/2 or even 2/5 game (and I've played quite a bit) that had more than 3-4 decent players (and that's including me, which could be a stretch...)...

Hate to hijack, but here goes...

Playing 1/2NL last night at some dude's house...

Get dealt [Ad] [Ac] in LP... 5 limpers... I raise to $25 (I'd seen 3-4 callers w/ $18 raises)... 2 idiots call...

FLOP [Ac] [5s] [2d] ... EP bets $10... 3 callers... I push for $125, cause fuck them... EP calls, and flips over the powerhouse [6c] [3c] for a big fat gutshot straight draw and a backdoor flush draw... So, of course, he hits his runner runner flush... And, he actually got complimented on how well he played it and "cracked my Aces"... I just smiled, cursed under my breath, and watched him burn through a grand that night... Every once in a while, when he would be debating some stupid call he would make, I would say something like "why not? You're betting w/ my money anyways..." just so he'd remember me when I bitch slapped him... But, it never came, and everyone else took all his cash...

Anyways, point is, like 90% of live players at 1/2NL are crapola... I just sit around and figure out who the other 10% is, and play tricky w/ them...

BM players are really dumb for the most part. I remember sitting at the Spirit Moutain Casino playing in a 3/6 game and being dealt AA. My opponent was a moron calling down with a pair of six's. He caught his two outer on the river and flat called. I flipped up my aces and some lady tells me that she recently learned that Aces only win 30% of the time. This got the table into a lengthy discussion about how Aces lose more money than any other hand. I almost explained how this was untrue, but decided to save my breath and take their money.

I firmly believe that B&M players are worse than online players for the following reasons. Ordered only by my stream of consciousness.

1. Visible tells/body language
2. Free Drinks
3. They are in a casino and ready to gamble
4. They are bigger stakes BJ, Craps players that are ready to gamble
5. They drove 3 hours and then sat on the waitlist for an hour and a half and are ready to gamble
6. Their junket leaves in an hour and they are ready to gamble
7. More machismo is at stake in person
8. Many of them don't play online so they haven't logged near as many hands as us
9. There is no computer to tell them the pot size,....nah nevermind they don't calculate pot odds anyway.
10. Adult ADD and 30 Hands/Hour don't mix

* Now if we can only figure out how to 4-table in a B&M!
